GASTRECTOMY
Sleeve gastrectomy is a type of restrictive surgery that affects the integrity of the gastrointestinal tract amending its structure to evoke weight loss. The main goal of the surgery is to make the stomach smaller and in doing so limit food intake.

GASTRIC
BYPASS
Combined gastric bypass surgery is called “combined” because not only the size of the stomach but also the length of the gastrointestinal tract is reduced. A small pouch (15–30 ml in volume) is formed from the upper part of the stomach.

MINI-GASTRIC
BYPASS
The mini-gastric bypass procedure is restrictive and malabsorptive. This means that the procedure reduces the size of your stomach, restricting the amount you can eat. The procedure also reduces absorption of food by bypassing up to 6 feet of intestines.

GASTRIC
BALLOON
The gastric balloon is considered one of the most preferred choices. The main reason why people tend to choose the gastric balloon is that it can be removed at any point of treatment. This is optional for those who want to prepare for the further bariatric surgery.
